Jennifer Love Hewitt has welcomed her second child with husband Brian Hallisay.
The 36-year-old gave birth to a son named Atticus James Hallisay on Wednesday, her rep confirmed to E! News.
The couple, who met when working on The Client List together, are already parents to 19-month-old daughter Autumn James.
Jennifer and Brian confirmed that they were expecting their second child in January, and did not reveal the baby’s gender.
The two actors have never used a nanny, and said ahead of Atticus’s birth that they had no plans of hiring help once they had two little ones running around.
‘We didn’t have a night nurse, we didn’t have a nanny,’ a heavily pregnant Jennifer told People.
‘We haven’t ever had any of that stuff. It’s been really interesting to do it all ourselves.’
In an interview with American Baby magazine in April, Jennifer said that pregnancy is ‘magical’ and added: ‘I’m grateful. It’s not lost on me what a gift it is to be able to get pregnant.’
She also discussed her cravings, revealing that there was ‘nothing too weird, although pickles for me this time have actually been a thing … I sort of just like the things that I normally like, but more of it.’
Jennifer continued: ‘I’m a big jalapeno person when I’m pregnant, which I like anyway. Italian food, which I kind of like anyway. You know cake, hotdogs, you name it really. Pretty much anything.’
The Ghost Whisperer star had been enjoying low-key dates with Brian while expecting.
‘Date night looks a lot like DVR, some sort of brought-in dinner substance or me cooking, and right now I go to bed at like 8:15. So it’s a lot like being married to Betty White,’ she joked.
