This Apple Fool is our go-to recipe for a quick and tasty breakfast, sure to get your baby’s day off to a healthy start. And it’s so quick and easy to make that you’ll love it as much as they do.

Why not try using pear instead of apple?
4 to 6 months
1 red-skinned apple (175g)
60ml full-fat yogurt
1. Peel, core and slice the apples and put in a microwaveable dish with 2 tbsp water.
2. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes or until the fruit is tender. OR cook in a small pan on the hob, covered for 5 minutes until soft.
3. Puree the fruit until smooth then cool.
4. Stir the yogurt into the cold apple, then mix well. Serve straight away or chill until required.
