Design: Cosatto have become know for their bold and bright designs and the Trof highchair is a great addition to the Cosatto range. Dinner time is an important time for families and as parents, we want our children to be safe and happy whilst eating their meal.
Age: Suitable from 6 months
The Trof is a sturdy highchair with a very well padded seat. It is very easy to wipe down but for bigger emergencies, it can be completely removed and washed. What a relief! The bold patterns are adorable and Eva seemed to really like it. Each time we placed her in, she stroked the chair and smiled happily. The base does take up room but this is not designed for compact households.
Ease Of Use: The Trof is easy to use. It has a fully adjustable 360º swivel action. By using the gas lift, you can adjust the position of the highchair with ease by simply applying pressure to the gas handle. This will provide you with different height options. We found this particularly useful whilst cooking, standing and pottering around. Eva could still sit in her chair and engage with us at a similar level. Each time we adjusted the height, she would erupt into giggles and signal for us to do it again.
Practicalities : Like most household items, I think you would have to find a home for the Trof in the kitchen as it is not the lightest of items to move. However, once it is at the dinner table, where else would you need to move it to?
Cost: RRP: £300. It may seem slightly pricey but as we mentioned before, the Trof is more than your average highchair and with a 4 year guarantee, it is built to last.
I loved the Trof and most importantly Eva loved it to. The gas lift is a real winning feature and I would not hesitate to recommend it to other parents.
