Graduating with a diploma in Naturopathy and a 1st Class BSC in Osteopathy nearly 16 years ago, he came top of the year for all of the 4 years of the degree, a feat which has only been achieved once before in the 100 year history of the British College of Osteopathy and Naturopathy.

 Sleep Expertise

Dave’s  interest in health first started when he realised at school that biology was a passion. He passed A level Biology with a Grade A and continued his interest in nutrition within the Food Science Degree. As a long-term back pain sufferer he found osteopathy to be a successful treatment, and took the leap to train as an Osteopath and Naturopath in 1997. It was during the course that he started to become interested in sleep and the opportunity for intervention including natural medicines and alternative treatments

In terms of ‘sleep therapy‘ he offers a bespoke sleep advice service, which is built on selecting specific lifestyle changes, and adding relaxation techniques combined with hypnotherapy, which he has successfully honed into an effective support for those seeking solutions locally for insomnia.

Dave’s work with sleep has continued through his sleep blog which launched in 2014.  His sleep tips and advice has been featured in the Mirror and Sun online, Sun, Mirror, Sunday People, Metro, Good Housekeeping, as well as the home pages of Yahoo and a host of other media, as well as BBC and local radio.
