He’s the doting father of an adorable 19-month-old daughter.
But Kanye West has revealed that he and wife Kim Kardashian are really keen to have more children, and that they are currently in the process of trying to expand their brood.
Appearing on Ellen DeGeneres’ chat show, the rapper was questioned over having more kids.
‘Yeah, we’re trying,’ the 37-year-old admitted.
Ellen laid on the praise for his little girl, North, who is often seen out and about with her famous parents.
‘Really? I thought I’d sneak that in there. I mean that baby is so adorable and she is precious and smart as can be, right?’ she asked, adding: ‘So you’re gonna have more? How many do you want like a bunch, like a Brad and Angie bunch?’
‘I just want whatever Kim wants,’ he responded simply, letting it be known he supports his wife’s wishes thoroughly.
His comments on the show – which airs on Thursday night – came as Kim, with whom he tied the knot in May 2014, also opened up about her desire to fall pregnant again.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told People magazine: ‘We’ve really been trying for another kid. More kids can’t come soon enough!’
It’s no secret that Kim has been wanting to give her daughter a sibling, and has turned to God, telling Entertainment Tonight that she ‘prays’ about it.
Kanye also revealed an exclusive look at his brand new collaboration with Paul McCartney during his time on Ellen’s TV couch, and also how marriage and having a family has changed him, gushing over his wife and daughter.
‘I’ve definitely learned how to compromise more,’ he said.
‘Which is something you have to understand when you partner with people in business.’
He went on: ‘And I’ve learned how to shut up more. I think I’m a better human being because of [Kim] and because of my daughter.
‘And I have always someone to think about going home to and you know something for me to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family too.’
‘Cause there are things I’ve done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people or for culture in a way so now I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect too.’
Ellen admitted that she can see a change in him and that he is certainly ‘calmer’, something he openly agreed with.
‘I think I was going through my version of my terrible twos. My daughter, she wants to express herself and she just doesn’t have the words for it. And for me there was so many things I wanted to do with film and clothing and I just didn’t have the words or the resources or the backing or the perception that I could do it being that I was a rapper.’
Kim and Kanye are rarely seen without their little girl whenever they are out in public, and the two loved-up stars are clearly doting parents.
And they manage to look after their daughter, whose nickname is Nori, while both having incredibly successful careers in the public eye.
They recently teamed up to appear in a photo shoot for Balmain for a new campaign, and Kim happily shared a selection of behind-the-scenes shots, the two of them working together and looking incredibly happy while doing so.
‘This shoot was so much fun!’ Kim gushed along with one of her snaps. ‘Getting to work with my husband and my good friend@olivier_rousteing ! How did I get so lucky!’
