Kelly Clarkson’s second pregnancy has not been fun.
The 33-year-old Piece By Piece singer told CBS This Morning on Wednesday that her morning sickness is actually all day sickness that is quite serious.
‘I have to get IVs and fluids because I get so dehydrated. It’s really bad,’ said the wife of Brandon Blackstock.
The country singer is expecting a boy next year.
In August she announced her second pregnancy.
She told her fans during a concert in August when crying during a song that made her think of her father. The Stronger hit maker stopped and told the crowd: ‘I was not planning on announcing this, but … I’m totally pregnant. I’m having a really hard time.’
The Heartbeat Song hit maker wed Blackstock in October 2013 during a romantic ceremony in the hills of Tennessee. They welcomed daughter River Rose in 2014.
In December 2013, when she was expecting her first child, she told Ellen DeGeneres she was not feeling well.
‘I vomit a good dozen times a day. It’s, like, bad. I vomited before coming out here,’ the American Idol winner said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in December 2013.
‘I’m not even kidding. It’s so bad. It’s so bad. It’s, like, so gross. And that’s the thing, too: You’re not attractive when you’re pregnant.
‘Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty.
‘That is total crap. My nails are short, my hair still falls out—it’s not all lush and beautiful—and I have no glow. Unless it’s, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It’s horrible.’
