He is one of football’s longest-standing players, but Wayne Rooney always finds time to indulge in his other passion – family.
To prove it, the 29 year-old uploaded a personal snap of himself with WAG wife Coleen and their two sons, Kai and Klay, on Thursday afternoon.
A black-and-white selfie taken at their home in Liverpool, it shows the Manchester United captain on good form and enjoying his role as a paternal figure.
Getting cosy with his loved ones, the snap shows the sporting family in relaxed from as they smile for the camera.
Captioning the image, which garnered more than 60,000 ‘likes’, Croxteh-born Wayne said: ‘TBT – Nothing better than family time!’.
Obviously proud of his brood, it’s only the latest in a series of cute family-orientated images to appear on his Instagram wall.
Last month he shared a picture of himself with Coleen while celebrating her birthday, while he has also recently uploaded two images of him with his boys on the pitch.

The forward has served under a number of big names for club and country during his career, but admits that he has had to learn to be his own man after Louis van Gaal handed him the armband, last summer.
