The Panasonic NR-B53V2 is a gorgeous American style fridge that would look at home in any stylish kitchen.
Being a family of six, we were looking for the ultimate refrigerator that could store more than a weeks worth of shopping and keep it fresh for longer. The Panasonic exceeded all of our expectations in every way.
Conventional refrigerators are normally too dry for storying fruit and vegetables as they rely on the air inside the entire appliance. But not Panasonic. These modern refrigerators feature the Vitamin-safe compartment, which is optimised to a high humidity level. The temperature can be adjusted to ensure your fruit and vegetables stay fresh for longer and it really does make a very big difference.
We noticed that the fridge was keeping our meat, fruit and vegetables much fresher for longer and all of our shopping was easily accessible as there are spacious shelves and compartments inside. This also meant that we were wasting much less to as not one ingredient was lost sitting behind something else.
The Panasonic Hygiene Active system is a combination of technologies which protect your food from coming into contact with harmful bacteria. Used in various products, silver is traditionally known for it’s antibacterial properties. The combination of a silver filter, which produces silver ions, as well as water mist and blue LED light, forms an anti- bacterial cleanser called ‘Hydroxy Radical’, which naturally occurs in the troposphere. This natural effect is produced inside a Panasonic refrigerator, eliminating 99.9999& of harmful bacteria.
The Hygiene Active system is placed at the back of the refrigerator in the centre of the cooling airflow. At three different points, the cold and clean air is blown into the refrigerator to create constant airflow and ensure maximum hygiene.
There are also clear controls on the front of the fridge, so if you would like to adapt the temperature or let your refrigerator know that you are going on holiday, you can change the settings at the touch of a button.
Two of our favorite features were the lights inside the fridge,which made any ingredient easy to find and the ice maker which was incredibly handy during the hot summer months when the children wanted to have a refreshing drink.
Overall, the Panasonic is the ultimate family fridge and truly Lovedbyparents. This year it won 3 Gold awards in the Lovedbyparents awards.
