Heavily pregnant Holly Willoughby made a welcome return to This Morning on Monday – a matter of days before she gives birth to her third child.
The bubbly 33-year-old was joined by veteran co-host Philip Schofield as the popular daytime talk show returned for a new series.
Sporting an appropriate floral leaf maternity dress, Holly paraded her prominent bump before catching up with Hub presenter Rylan Clark and controversial show regular Katie Hopkins.
Tweeting the night before her live appearance, the expectant star admitted she was looking forward to being back on the sofa with close pal Phil.
She wrote: ‘Now home to bed, up early in the morning to be reunited with @Schofe on This Morning… can’t wait to see his gorgeous face!’
Holly, who is expected to give birth in September, will continue presenting until she goes into labour, after which Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden will step in.
‘Amanda has agreed to come in for a few days each week even though she is not on screen,’ a show source told The Mirror.
‘She will be watching from the wings to learn the ropes, get a feel of the show as Phil and Holly present the new series. She’ll also be here getting to know the crew and daytime bosses.’
Holden will join Phil on the show for four days a week from September with husband-and-wife team Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford continuing on Fridays.
Referring to her third pregnancy in June, Holly – a parent to Harry, five and three-year-old Belle with husband Dan Baldwin – admitted she was yet to determine the sex of her unborn child.
‘I really have no idea,’ she said. ‘It’s weird with your third. Having had one of each and both pregnancies having been pretty much the same, hand on heart, I really don’t mind if I have a boy or girl.
‘I’m lucky to have one of each, anyway. They’re both wonderful. What will be will be.’
