Primark reveals it will open its biggest EVER store in Birmingham – featuring a beauty salon,
barber shop and THREE restaurants.
Primark has announced that its biggest ever store will open in Birmingham city centre on April 11.
Boasting 160,100 sq ft of retail space at Primark’s 187th store in the UK, it is more than 5,000 sq ft bigger than the retailer’s existing largest store in Manchester, which covers 155,000 sq ft.
The five-storey shop is so big it will have almost 1,000 employees working there when it opens in just 43 days.
Customers will be able to not just shop but eat, get their brows and nails done – and there will even be an in-house barbers for last-minute haircuts.
A Primark spokesperson said: ‘We confirm plans to open our new flagship store in Birmingham, on April 11, 2019.
‘The store, Primark Birmingham High Street, will be our largest to date and 187 in the UK. It will feature the latest contemporary shop fit and an enhanced customer experience across 160,100 sq ft of retail space and five floors of fashion.
‘The store will create more than 500 new jobs, while 430 colleagues will transfer from our existing location in Birmingham.
