While he’s developed a reputation as the tough-talking judge on such shows as The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell is showing he’s a big softy when it comes to his baby son, Eric.
On Monday, the music mogul, 55, took to his Twitter account to share a sweet shot of himself and his 14-month-old offspring lying in bed as they watched cartoon classic The Lion King on his tablet.
Simon captioned the adorable image: ‘After watching the Jungle Book 1000 times we have moved on to the Lion King.’
Wearing a patterned Petit Bateau onesie, little Eric is seen staring intently at the musical action as he leans his head against his father’s chest.
Simon, dressed in a grey T-shirt with matching bottoms, is shown dutifully propping up the tablet for his son’s viewing pleasure while he gives his eyes a rest.
But later in the day, he was able to indulge in watching something more age-appropriate for himself, and enthusiastically shared the news with his almost 12 million followers.
‘We do want to have more children of our own but we could adopt as well. I wouldn’t rule out it happening. It’s a good idea.’
Simon’s close pal and former girlfriend Sinitta adopted nine-year-old Magdalena and eight-year-old Zac just before Christmas six years ago with her ex-husband Andy Wilner.
Both of her children now have a close relationship with Simon as the trio regularly holiday with the music mogul.
