Top Picks from the Aldi Mamia Parent Panel…

Buying the right products for your little ones can be tough, especially when it comes to balancing fantastic quality with great value. That’s why parents value each other’s opinions and experiences so highly when it comes to making the right product choices for our families.

To help ensure that parents are happy with the quality and value they receive in-store at Aldi, our LBP sponsor, Aldi Mamia, works with a hand-picked Parent Panel – a group of real parents who span the UK and put their products to the test, telling Aldi what they like, what they love, and what they want to see more of, so you can rest assured that you’re buying the best for your family.

This month, meet Parent Panel member Liz, and check out her top Aldi picks!

“Hi! I’m Liz and originally from Pennsylvania, USA. My husband Dan and I live in Leeds with Benjamin (5 years), Amalie (3 years), and Clara (1), plus two dogs. I like to think our busy home is full of both fun and love.

Our family time is the most important thing to us, followed closely by time with our friends. We love being active and enjoying the fresh air. Running, swimming, playing football, bouncing on our trampoline, and dancing keep us busy. As a family, we enjoy cooking together and eating the fruits of our labour too!

We’re really excited to be part of Aldi’s Parent Panel and telling everyone all about their new products and best family buys!”

Here are Liz’s top Aldi buys:

Mamia Toddler Wipes, £0.55

“If your little one is potty training or becoming confident in using the toilet all by themselves, these wipes are great! They’re a perfect size too to fit in your handbag or nappy bag. The smell is fresh and it seems gentle on little ones’ bums! Plus, the price is great – a bargain at 55 pence!”

100% Organic Breakfast Pouches, £0.59

“I was really happy to receive these pouches in my box this month. What I love is that they’re organic and so easy for when you’re out and about or travelling. Also, if grandparents are looking after our little one, it’s easy for them to give her as a little snack. The flavours are great and the price is even better! We really like the Apple & Banana breakfast pouch. I also really think Aldi should be commended for their labelling on their packing – stating Stage 1 is from 6 months, in line with Department of Health Guidance.”

Mamia Organic Apple and Blackcurrant Juice, £0.85

“I tried this product myself and really liked the flavour. I love that it’s organic and doesn’t have any added nasties. I think the bottle size actually would work well for older children’s packed lunches (or mine!) or for picnics. I’d buy this again!”

Mamia Sweet Potato, Butternut Squash, Apple & Blueberry Stage 1 Pouches, £0.59

“I was excited to see this new product in my hamper this month. I like the combination of both fruit and vegetables in one pouch. My littlest loved this flavour and had it as a dessert. Fab value and great that it’s organic! I wish the pouch was bigger!”

Aldi would love to hear what you think of their Mamia range – tell them what you like, love, and want to see more of using #AldiMamia on Twitter, or follow them on Facebook at @AldiUK.
