TOWIE’s Billie Faiers and fiancé Greg Shepherd welcome first daughter

Billie Faiers has given birth to a baby daughter.

The TOWIE star and her fiancé Greg Shepherd announced the happy news via a statement released to MailOnline on Thursday afternoon, and mother and baby are said to be ‘doing well’.

A representative for Billie and Greg told MailOnline: ‘Billie Faiers has given birth to a baby girl. Mother and baby are doing well.’

Pregnant Billie revealed she was overdue at the weekend as she headed out for a country walk with her fiance on Saturday morning in an attempt to hurry things along.

Posting a snap on her Instagram page, the 24-year-old boutique owner showed off her neat bump in a form-fitting blue workout top, which she teamed with matching leggings.

Writing alongside the shot, she said: ‘Out for a nice long walk… Get this baby moving .. #overdue.’

The reality star looked the picture of radiance as she headed out for the day, sensibly wearing trainers to pound the pavement alongside her businessman beau.

Billie wore her platinum blonde locks pulled back from her face, and opted for minimal make-up to showcase her flawless pregnancy glow as she and Greg posed for a cute selfie together.

TOWIE fans went into overdrive earlier in the day when the starlet posted a picture of a newborn baby on her Instagram page – only for it turn out to be she and Greg’s new nephew.

Alongside the adorable snap, she wrote: ‘Beautiful baby Jude come to see us … He can’t wait to meet his baby cousin.’

Billie and long-term boyfriend Greg announced they were expecting their first child together in early January, but the couple admitted they initially kept their happy news a secret from their nearest and dearest.

Greg told OK! magazine: ‘I could tell she was pregnant straight away because she was coming out in all these spots, which she never gets. She was too nervous about someone seeing her buying a test so I went and bought one.’

Billie added: ‘We kept it to ourselves because I was so in shock. In my head I knew I was pregnant because I missed my period, which never happens, but I was too nervous to do the pregnancy test because suddenly my whole life was about to change.

‘We didn’t tell anyone for two weeks. I invited Sam and my mum round for dinner to tell them but Sam was half asleep on the sofa so it wasn’t the right time.

‘When I eventually told them they were over the moon. It was such a relief, because I could finally get excited.’

Shortly after announcing they were expecting their first child together, Greg popped the question during a romantic ‘babymoon’ in the Maldives.

Billie explained: ‘He told me on the second night of our holiday that the hotel manager had arranged for us to watch the sunset on one of the sandbanks in the ocean.

‘I had no idea he was going to propose! Even when we got there and I saw two chairs with a bottle of champagne, I didn’t suspect a thing I’m so excited.

‘He said “I love you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I know our baby will be just as beautiful as you are. Will you marry me?”

‘Then he started crying. It took a while for it all to sink it and then ten minutes later I got a bit tearful too.’
