And David Beckham proved that he’s also developing a bond with his sister Joanne’s newborn daughter Peggy in a sweet Instagram post.
On Saturday, the iconic footballer was beaming as he played with his cute niece who was also smiling back at him.
Cradling her in his lap, the 42-year-old looked so happy as they spent some quality time together, and Peggy seemed to be loving it as he wrote: ‘Apparently to my gorgeous little niece Peggy I’m pretty funny.’
David has been a devoted uncle since his sister welcomed her baby girl in December, and he showed off his soft side as they played together in the sweet family snap.
Peggy was dressed in a mint green onesie, and her short brunette hair was sticking up in spikes.
Previously Joanne has shared funny posts of the two of them together, and made fun of her brother’s hair with the caption: ‘L O V E. M Y. U N C L E… as if me and uncle David have the same hair ! I think he copied me.’
David and his former Spice girl wife turned fashion designer Victoria, 43 share sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15 and Cruz, 13, and daughter Harper, seven.
