Woman who is six months pregnant is now on Tinder looking for a date

AN EXPECTING mother has revealed how she is using Tinder to get a date, despite being six months’ pregnant.

During a Sydney radio interview on Mike E and Emma on The Edge 96.1, the woman — who identified herself only as ‘Caitlin’ — admitted that she uses the dating app, and said that just because she is pregnant doesn’t mean she can’t look for a boyfriend.

Caitlin, who recently split with partner and father of the baby, said she hadn’t received much support from her friends for jumping on the app.

“My friends have been a little judgey — basically I’m six months pregnant,’ she told hosts Mike E and Emma.

“I don’t necessarily tell the guys I’m talking to that I’m pregnant, I certainly don’t keep it from them, I mean, when we meet up they obviously see that I’m pregnant,” she added.

Caitlin said that because she was not upfront about being pregnant her friends thought she was “not a good person”.

“I’m not keeping it from them [potential dates] but I’m just not declaring it when I’m talking to them,” she said.

“It is definitely a shock to people I guess.”

Caitlin’s interview received a mixed response from listeners, with some criticising the mum-to-be for not being honest about her pregnancy.

Host Emma agreed, adding “if she is looking for love, which it sounds like she is, then it’s not really going to happen for her”.

“And then I’m hearing about a girl that’s six months pregnant not even thinking about the child whatsoever.”

But Caitlin defended herself, saying she is “doing all the right things and making sure health is a priority” but still wants to have a life.
