Annabel’s Frankenstein Krispies
This recipe is frightfully easy to make, so conjure up some kitchen fun and bring these tasty monsters to life!

Makes: 8 Krispies
Ingredients
50g soft brown sugar
50g golden syrup
75g butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
50g white chocolate, broken into pieces
good pinch sea salt
green food colouring
75g Rice Krispies
To decorate
Edible eyes
100g plain chocolate, melted
Black icing pen
Method
Line a 20 x 20 square tin with baking paper.
Measure the sugar, syrup, and butter together in a saucepan and stir until melted.
Add the vanilla, white chocolate and salt and stir until smooth and runny.
Add the green food colouring and the Rice Krispies and stir until the Krispies are coated in the mixture.
Spoon into the tin and level the surface before chilling in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Remove from the tin and slice into 8 rectangles.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top and sides of the Krispie bar to make the Frankenstein’s hair. Add the eyes and draw eyebrows and a mouth using the black icing pen.
